This is a fantastic diagnostic tool that addresses one of the biggest problems of practicing on artificial turf. We finally have something that gives golfers crystal clear feedback on one of the most important fundamentals in the golf swing - ground contact.

It's not often that a product grabs my attention in this category. Also, very few make it into my personal practice routine. So I guess my ultimate stamp of approval for the Divot Board is that I plan on using it for the long term.

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by the inventor of a device; he said he wanted to send me some to test. I agreed, and just thought it would be one of those aids that gets dumped I my garage, filed under “not putting my name/reputation towards this." But when the Divot Board arrived, I took one swing and called him. "I have to get this device in the hands of as many golfers as possible."

I love this golf aid. I have tried over a dozen golf aids over the last 15 years since I started golfing and this is the simplest and most effective feedback mechanism I have ever come across. And not only does it not need batteries or an app on my phone to work, but it also provides instant and vital feedback for each and every swing.

It took me thirty swings with my 8-iron to finally hit the ball first and get that perfect v-shaped groove in the Divot Board I had been looking for. Well over half my hits had felt "perfect" to me, but had made contact an inch or more before the ball. This kills my score when I go golfing in courses other than the hard grounded fairways of my home course.

Thanks to this tool I and changing my swing in ever so nuanced ways and hitting the ball first and more effectively than I ever had before.

The Divot Board is by far my favorite training tool (and trust me, I've purchased several in my day). I suffer from fat and thin shots with my irons and the immediate
feedback the board provides with low point and clubface direction has been very helpful.

The short answer is that I love it. Instant feedback is always welcome. It is a durable, well-made training device and I’m especially happy about my ability to replace the top when it wears out.

My first few strikes revealed what I already know, and that is I take big divots to the point of nearly hitting every shot fat. It has helped me to shallow out my swing and I’m definitely making better contact with more functional swing path. All-in-all I highly recommend the Divot Board as a useful training aid.

As a teaching pro I use it mostly to show players a clear picture of impact and face and path and then to explain low point.

For several reasons the Divot Board is one of the best devices I've ever purchased, but the biggest reason is the feedback I get after every swing. I'm a golf junky but I can't play or get to the range as much as I want, so I'm always looking for useful training aids, and the feedback from the Divot Board makes it incredibly effective! I use it every day whether I'm hitting balls into a net in the garage or chipping balls while I watch tv with the wife. I'm sure I've put a thousand swings on it and it is very durable as well. If you care about ball first contact and improving as a golfer I would definitely recommend trying a Divot Board.

My initial feedback with the Divot Board is positive. I bought it because I struggle with low point control and really wanted something I could pair with my net in practice that would give me an idea where my club was interacting with the turf. I've been hitting off a mat I purchased, but the feedback I was getting off it was iffy at best.

I'm happy with how well it's held up after at least 600 strikes both with a ball and without. I like how you can just take it outside and get results without a ball.

My ball striking isn't perfect, but I have seen better results in practice, and most importantly, on the course. It's helped me realize that I sway back off the ball and has me focusing more on eliminating this bad habit. I have touted it highly on both the Practical Golf forum and another forum in active in. I know I've influenced at least two other golfers to pick one up.

I am very pleased with the Divot Board. In particular, I like the fact that I can use it anywhere to work on skills like ground contact and face strike any time I have a few minutes. Since I don’t have to go to the range to use the Divot Board, it has made my skills practice much more frequent and regular. Because of the instant feedback the Divot Board provides, I believe that I am making progress in my ball striking skills.

When I first received the product, my divots were "all over the board." But after taking several swings almost daily, my divot pattern has improved, as has my ball striking on the course.
